My Grandmother once said, “There’s a silver lining in every dark cloud.” The quarantine forced me to spend more time indoors, but it has had a positive impact on my life. My faith in God is stronger, and my self-confidence has improved.
To be honest, my occupation has presented many challenges over the years. Contrary to popular belief, being a health care worker is not a walk in the park. Unfortunately, health care workers throughout the country have been affected by COVID-19. Some have lost their lives while helping workers.
In my humble opinion, health care workers are your heroes, and we should never be forgotten. To love others is one theme we keep in mind all the time.
It is a struggle to leave home every day knowing that you may get exposed to a dangerous virus. I don’t want to put my daughter’s health at risk. This is the primary reason why I go the extra mile to make certain that I protect myself while working.
It’s also important to mention that it’s hard to become a teacher. It takes patience, dedication, and focus to become an exceptional teacher. Without these qualities, it will be extremely hard for you to make a difference.
I strongly believe that God wants us to help our friends and family members. I’m learning that responsibility is the key to being a strong foundation for others.
What can we learn from this quarantine?
We’re learning that we need each other. To love others should be a top priority for everyone.
We should also make an earnest effort to make a difference in people’s lives. God has a plan for us, and I personally believe this quarantine will help us have more compassion for each other.
This quarantine has taught me to take one day at a time and live life to the fullest. Tomorrow is not promised to anyone. So, we have to make sure we are happy.
We have the power to make the world a better place. To love others is embedded into my heart. Fortunately, this quarantine has strengthened my bond with my daughter.
I’m blessed and thankful!
